At Easten Mediatech, we believe in clear communication and fair practices. This page outlines our legal policies and how terminations are handled.
1. Termination by Client
You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice via email to info@eastenmediatech.com. Upon termination:
- Any outstanding payments for work already completed will be due immediately
- Unused prepaid amounts, if applicable, will be refunded on a pro-rata basis
- We will deliver all finalized work and assets created up to the termination date
2. Termination by Easten Mediatech
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services immediately without prior notice if:
- You fail to make payments on time
- You violate our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy
- You engage in activities that are illegal or harm our brand reputation
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory authorities
In such cases, no refunds will be issued for work already completed.
3. Project Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an ongoing project:
- Before work begins: Full refund of any advance payment
- After work has started: You will be billed for work completed up to the cancellation date, and the balance will be refunded
- After final delivery: No refunds, as the work is considered complete
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@eastenmediatech.com.
4. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first to find an amicable solution. If we cannot resolve the issue informally:
- The dispute will be governed by the laws of India
- Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts in Mohali, Punjab
- Any legal proceedings will be conducted in English
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We provide our services “as is” without any warranties
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months
- We are not responsible for third-party platform changes or failures (Meta, Google, etc.)
6. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or internet outages.
